I’ve been asked more about AI chat search in the last two weeks than in the prior 12 months.

The zeitgeist has changed, and this is now top of mind for founders and marketers.

I talked to the founder of Profound (Answer Engine Optimization Software) and he told me that 95% of searches they are seeing are web based.

And guess where they’re scraping from… Google.

From our internal data we’ve found that AI answer engines are scraping page 1 and page 2 of Google.

So as a brand your job is to make more content related to your niche and get more media placements on page 1 and page 2.

And I’m not talking about 10x content, I’m talking about 1000x. You need surface area, a lot of surface area to show up in AI search engines.

Simple mental model for this is more surface area makes more digital mass, more digital mass makes more digital gravity which makes more influence in your niche.

2. YouTube is the most valuable social media

i’ve been investing heavily in youtube lately

this is entirely based on two things I saw

one, youtube getting streamed more than netflix

two, someone sending me a picture of them watching a video on their tv in their living room

let’s break these down

on Netflix’s recent earnings call they were asked about YouTube as a threat

i recently got sent a photo with someone watching a podcast i was on in their living room through their smart TV

you can now be in a persons home, talking to them, daily weekly monthly

however much content you can get out the door

cable news brainwashed my grammy from her living room

3. n8n json generator

n8n might be the most OP thing ive used as a marketer

recently I learned that flows are just structured json

so what I’ve been doing is going to perplexity and having it right n8n json code for me

this gave me the idea that this should be an app, like an n8n flow building assistant you chat with that writes the code

1. Tiktok ads with $2 CPM bid cap

people paying shorts clippers $1 per 1000 impressions

but you can put a bid cap on tiktok for $2 CPM

when I tested this I got a $1.64 CPM

without the headache of managing clippers who are trying to bot farm views to fleece your dedicated budget

this is a super easy way to build top of funnel discovery

2. more ad variant testing means cheaper CPCs

here’s two ways to build 100+ ad variants using AI automation

1) video ads

prompt perplexity for 10 pain points related to x product

then take results and say write 10 30 second ad scripts about each pain point, use a hook from this hook list

“You won’t believe how easy this is…”

“What happens next will shock you…”

“Struggling with [problem]? Here’s a solution.”

“Tired of wasting time on [task]? This will save you hours.”

“Say goodbye to [pain point] once and for all.”

“Stop wasting money on [ineffective solution]! Try this instead.”

“If you [describe your target], stop scrolling!”

use n8n to them takes the transcripts and upload them to heygen api

upload ads to facebook ads

2) chatgpt ad api

prompt perplexity for 10 pain points related to x product you’re trying to market

tell it to create 10 ad concept ideas for each pain point related to the product

find competitor ads using the facebook ad library

then take the competitor ads, your product images, and your 100 concepts and prompt the chatgpt image api to make ads for each based on this using an n8n flow

upload all ads to facebook ads
